Hello, I'm TRACEY, a member of the moms n heels facebook group and a travel advisor.



I will be helping this group organize this trip. I provide information about the cruise, help everyone with getting booked into this group, keep everyone on track with payments for the cruise, coordinate pre and post cruise travel arrangements, and generally ensure that everyone is all set for the cruise with the proper boarding and travel documents.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?





We're going on a cruise! This cruise leaves from Port Canaveral, FL on July 21, 2025, and returns to Port Canaveral on July 25, 2025.


If you're flying to Florida, taking the train or bus to Florida, plan to arrive in Orlando, FL by at least the day before the cruise leaves. If you're driving, plan to arrive in Cape Canaveral, FL by noon the day the cruise departs.


The Orlando International Airport (Airport code: MCO) is the closest airport to Cape Canaveral, FL. Port Canaveral is about a 45-minute drive from Orlando. Travelers in the Atlanta area can drive to Orlando or Port Canaveral in about 7 hours.


I can help you plan transportation to and from Florida but this isn't included in the rates below. If needed, this group will have a pre-cruise hotel and ground transportation package that will be communicated when we have the final count.


Travel insurance is also not included but is strongly encouraged. Travel insurance options will be presented to you when a cabin is assigned.




Once group minimums are met, guests in this group will receive the following onboard amenities:

-$50 onboard credit per stateroom
- Welcome gift per stateroom

The cruise fare includes accommodations, most meals, basic beverages - water, lemonade, tea, coffee - and onboard activities.

Alcoholic beverages, specialty drinks - like smoothies, bottled water, juice, and soda aren't included in the cost of your cruise. You can buy them a la carte on the ship or you can purchase a beverage package that covers the cost of all these items on the ship. Some specialty restaurants also require a fee to dine there.

GROUP RULES



When traveling as a group, the trip depends on everyone going as planned. To that end, there a few group rules for this trip that will help ensure everyone actually makes it to the cruise and has a fabulous trip.



Rule No 1





In order to receive the group perks and maximize the group's purchasing power, you must book the cruise through the designated agent - me. If you book directly with Carnival, you will still have a fabulous cruise but won't receive any of the benefits of booking with this group.



Rule No 2





I can book you into the group using most of Carnival's current promotions. Whatever you see on Carnival.com, I can also see and book it for you. Please keep in mind that some of these promotions require non-refundable deposits. If you choose to book with a non-refundable deposit, you will be immediately bound by those terms when a cabin is assigned, and the deposit is applied.



Rule No 3





There is a $25 per person group initiation fee for this trip. This is NOT a deposit. The $25 fee holds our group space and cabin allocations with the cruise line. Therefore, this fee is non-refundable. The fee will be applied to your booking when the final payment is made. The $25 group initiation fee is good through April 10, 2024. After that the fee will increase to $50 per person. You can also pay the full $150 per person deposit if you don't need to split it into multiple payments.



Rule No 4





Cabins will be assigned when the cruise line's deposit requirements are met. The standard deposit for this cruise is $150 per person. After the initial registration fee is paid, it's expected that each person will continue to make incremental payments on their estimated cabin total. Everyone who plans to go on this cruise has to have made at least $150 in payments by September 30, 2024.


Full payment for this cruise is required by May 1, 2025.



WHERE ARE WE GOING?





This 4-night cruise itinerary has one day at sea and two stops in the Bahamas - Nassau and Celebration Key, Carnival's newest destination in the Bahamas..


Itinerary (subject to change at cruise line's discretion):


DAY 1 - Port Canaveral, FL (Orlando) Depart: 3:30 PM

DAY 2 - Celebration Key, Bahamas 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

DAY 3 - Nassau, Bahamas Arrive: 8:00 AM. Depart: 4:00 PM

DAY 4 - Day at sea

DAY 5 - Port Canaveral, FL. Arrive: 8:00 AM


Nassau, Bahamas is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world. Located only 50 miles southeast of the coast of Florida, Nassau boasts a unique combination of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. With a large population of close to 250,000 inhabitants spread out mostly to the south and east of the cruise port, the historic center in town is where most attractions, like the Queen's Staircase and Atlantis Paradise Island resort, are found.


There are many things to do in the port of Nassau. Junkanoo Beach is within walking distance and Cabbage Beach is a short taxi ride away. Downtown Nassau just outside the cruise port has several landmarks and museums. The iconic Atlantis resort offers day passes to cruise ship passengers that allow you to explore it's aquariums and beaches. Their casino and shops is always free to enter and play.


For an exciting day trip to fish, snorkel, scuba dive, or swim with the dolphins, take a boat ride to nearby Blue Lagoon/Balmoral Island or Pearl Island. For those who prefer to experience the underwater world without getting wet, there are several semi-submarine and glass bottom boat tours.

A few more things we need to mention.

Since this cruise starts and ends in the United States, you can travel on this cruise with just a certified copy of your birth certificate and a valid state-issued ID, if you're a US citizen. Children younger than 16 only need a certified copy of their birth certificate. If you have a valid passport that doesn't expire within 6 months of the travel date, that's even better. If you're not a US citizen, I will work with you to determine what travel documents you need.

The group rate is fully refundable up until final payment date. After that, the following cancellation penalties apply.

Cancel after:

5/7/25: $150 per person

5/28/25: 50% of cruise fare per person

6/23.25: 75% of cruise fare per person

7/8/2025: 100% of cruise fare person

Group Pricing



Prices shown are the total price for all guests in the same cabin, including taxes, port fees, and prepaid gratuities. Rates are based on double occupancy. One person in a cabin pays the same rate as two people in a cabin. Cabins are subject to availability. Rates are subject to change without notice up until cabin is assigned.
Two twin beds is the standard cabin configuration. The two beds can also be joined to make one king bed. The 3rd and 4th guests in each cabin have a choice of a small sofabed or Pullman bed, depending on the cabin chosen. If you choose to book a guarantee cabin, the cruise line will pick your cabin.
